Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Kindly RSVP to our wedding by July 23, 2025.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors on the golf green. The cocktail hour and reception will take place inside the club, with access to the porches and side garden. There is a moderate walking distance from the clubhouse to the ceremony space—golf cart shuttles will be available for guests with limited mobility.

What do I wear?

For our wedding, we kindly request black-tie optional attire with a garden party flair. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and formal dresses! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a dark suit and tie or a tuxedo. Ladies—don’t be afraid to play with colors, patterns, frills, and bold silhouettes. Please note that black dresses have been reserved for members of the bridal party. Looking for inspiration? We’ve put together a Pinterest board here: https://pin.it/4BdDfgHnk Our ceremony will be outdoors on a golf green, so we recommend wedges or block heels instead of stilettos.

What kind of weather can I expect?

Kentucky summers are hot and humid. With that in mind, we’ve provided shade and fans for the outdoor ceremony space, and we’ll be keeping the ceremony short and sweet so we can quickly retreat to the air conditioning inside for cocktail hour and the reception. Hopefully, as the evening goes on, the weather will cool off and you'll have the chance to explore the beautiful grounds.

Where do I park if I am driving?

There is a parking lot adjacent to the country club available for wedding guests. It will be on your left as you come up the drive.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one has been extended to you, your invitation will read “{Your Name} + Guest.” Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We’ve hired an exceptional photographer to capture our ceremony and reception, and we have complete confidence in her ability to document every meaningful moment. We kindly ask that you refrain from using your phone or camera during the ceremony so you can be fully present for the exchange of vows. During the reception, all bets are off! Feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like—we can't wait to see what you capture.
